CHALLENGE /Millennials are becoming increasingly aware of early signs of aging, but the skincare category often meets them with overwhelming routines and fear-based messaging. Instead of anti-aging shame tactics, they’re looking for products that feel approachable, effective, and empowering.
SOLUTION //To launch Honest’s Ageless collagen skincare, we leaned into the insight that the year 2000 was 25 years ago — let that sink in. We created Y2K-inspired vignettes featuring millennial archetypes (butterfly clips, AIM drama, frosted tips) to tap nostalgia and highlight the product’s deep-sinking benefits. The art direction fused early-2000s aesthetics with a modern skincare twist — playful, glossy, and a little self-aware.
To support Honest Ageless beyond the campaign, we developed an evergreen visual language that extended the line into a cohesive brand world. Minimal skincare photography highlighted real skin texture, glow, and efficacy, while natural elements, elastic, and balloons brought the collagen and elastin story to life. Used across social, web, and in-store, these visuals created a visual system that felt fresh, confident, and distinctly Honest.
